Den välkända Duotone Trust Bar är utvecklad för att ge kitesurfare överlägsen kontroll och mångsidighet i ett och samma system. Med innovativa säkerhetslösningar och exakt styrning kan du navigera tryggt i alla förhållanden och enkelt anpassa setupen efter dina behov.

Det avancerade Click-In säkerhetssystemet ger en snabb, enkel och säker inkoppling. De högpresterande FLITE99 2.0-linorna ger exakt och responsiv styrning för optimal manövrerbarhet. Trust Bar är byggd för flexibilitet med justerbara linlängder och barbredder, vilket gör den kompatibel med ett brett utbud av kitar och åkstilar. Den valbara Low-V-positionen gör baren kompatibel med de flesta kitemodeller.

Det unika frontline depower-systemet använder DPL24 depower-lina, vilket ger mjuk, effektiv och exakt kraftkontroll. Det kompletta depower-systemet består av en specialutvecklad Dyneema-lina med 24-mesh-hölje för minskat slitage och bra greppkänsla, säkerhetsbungee samt Vario Cleat med clip för snygg förvaring av överflödiga linor.

Säkerheten är i fokus med Iron Heart VI Click-In Quick Release som levererar maximal tillförlitlighet när det verkligen gäller. Tack vare ett friktionslager är baren enkel att reda ut under åkning. Minimalistiska pigtails minskar trassel, medan FLITE99 2.0 Back Lines och FLITE99 2.0+ Front LInes – med ny monofil-konstruktion – reducerar friktion och förbättrar prestandan. Frontlinorna är 1,5 mm tjocka med högre brottstyrka för extra hållbarhet.

Trust Bar är utrustad med en metallring som V-distributor för enkel montering och demontering, samt en suicide-ring för dig som föredrar fast suicide-läge.

Greppet är tillverkat av EVA där 20 % består av mer hållbart Bloom-material (alger). Baren levereras med 4 linor, vilket ger en ren, enkel och säker setup.

Wakestyle Kit

The Wakestyle Kit comes with a huge chicken loop and a long leash. This setup is ideal for unhooked freestyle and wakestyle riding. Easy to hook back in following unhooked tricks, the long neoprene covered leash gives maximum freedom to move, comfort and prevents injuries.

Freestyle Kit

Freeride Kit
The Freeride Kit comprises of the smallest chicken loop combined with a short leash. This kit is the first choice for freeriders which are not unhooking. The short chicken loop maximizes the depower range, whilst the shorter safety leash is tangle-free.

Rope Harness Kit
The Rope Harness Kit presents a small chicken loop with a metal plate and a short leash, which can ONLY be used with a rope harness. You must not use this loop on a standard harness hook. The short chicken loop ensures maximum range of depower and it’s non-abrasive quality, means a longer lasting harness rope and loop. A short tangle-fee safety leash provides confidence and comfort. It’s designed without any disturbing chicken dig.

LINE LENGTH ADVISOR

The length of Duotone flying lines can make a huge difference to the way a kite flies. Different styles of riding, different kite models or the kite size are influencing factors that require different line length. In order to achieve maximum comfort and to receive the best performance of a kite, it is essential to match the kite and the rider’s style of riding to the correct line length!

WHAT IS THE “THREE-LEVEL SAFETY SYSTEM”?

Every well-designed bar has a three-level safety system. If one of these levels on a bar is not fully functional, this can result in a life-threatening situation for the rider and any other people involved. 

1ST LEVEL – LETTING GO OF THE BAR

Letting go of the bar results in the kite’s angle of attack adjusting to a minimum. The kite should almost completely cease pulling, falling powerless into the water. (For more information on angle of attack click here.) 

2ND LEVEL – QUICK RELEASE

If the quick-release system is triggered, the kite completely loses all power. Tension is lost in all except one of the lines and the kite completely ceases to pull. Here a 5th line is slightly safer than a 4 line bar because a kite on a 4 line bar may continue to pull slightly in some cases. 

3RD LEVEL – SAFETY LEASH

If the kite does not stop pulling for some reason after the quick release has been triggered, the final solution is to disconnect completely from the kite by detaching the safety leash. This option should only be used in an absolute emergency as it results in the complete loss of the kite.

FRENCH NORM

The Duotone Trust Bar and Duotone Click Bar both comply with the French Norm: 

- the force required to release must not exceed 100 N (9.8 kg)

- the release process must not exceed 0.5 seconds

- the change from driving position to release (grasping the quick release system or the safety leash if you have both hands on the bar) must not exceed 2 seconds

- the quick release grips must be red and the release direction must be indicated

- it must be easy to reach the quick release system

- the Iron Heart must be able to handle forces of up to 360 kg without distortion or any loss of functionality

- the same applies for the safety leash up to a force of 180 kg

These systems have been tested in the toughest, sandiest, saltiest conditions we could find.
